René Cosic sitting in his Voisin Racer on 21 September 1910. Note that the aircraft is missing the bow top elevators. This was to minimize lift and as such to prevent the machine of flying. Thus modified the aircraft was used as a flying-school aircraft to train students in ground rolling as a part of their flight instruction.
